The Virginia Beach Crime Solvers is a citizen-based program that works in partnership with the public, the Virginia Beach Police Department, businesses and the news media. The purpose of the program is to raise funds to pay anonymous rewards and to create public awareness of our anonymous web, mobile and tip lines that help to solve crimes and result in a safer city and improved quality of life for all.

Grand Larceny 2026033245

6/15/26, 4400 block VBB, beauty store, 4:44 p.m. – the two pictured individuals worked together to steal over $1,400 worth of merchandise from the store in Town Center.


Suspects:

  • BM, 50-60, 6’4-6’5, 200 lbs., beard, silver watch, black hat, black NY t-shirt, black denim shorts ,and black Nike sneakers, Trader Joe’s bag.
  • BF, 50-60, 5’3, 170 lbs., short hair, blue t-shirt that says “Cowgirl”, torn blue denim shorts, white flip flops.

6/20/26, 4400 block VBB, beauty store – Suspect female grabbed multiple items valued at over $1,600, placed them into an orange bag, and then walked out without paying for the items. She got into the passenger-side of a white Toyota 4Runner.

6/10/26, 3700 block VBB – The pictured suspect went into the bank, presented a fictitious North Carolina driver’s license with the victim’s information, and then withdrew $10,000 from the victim’s bank account.

Credit Card Fraud/Larceny 2026033253

6/15/26 – The victim’s credit card was stolen from his vehicle parked on Ocean Front Ave. The pictured individual used the credit card at an ABC store in Norfolk to purchase over $1,000 worth of alcohol. The same two suspects have been involved in other larceny cases from construction sites at the North End.

  • Suspect 1 : B/M, 20’s, thin build, glasses, yellow hoodie, red sneakers.
  • Suspect 2 (not pictured): W/M, 30’s, heavy-set, red hair, large build, driving car.
  • Suspect vehicle: White, early 2000’s model Ford Taurus, driver-side door keyless lock hanging off door.

You will stay anonymous.

You never have to worry about someone finding out you've provided a tip to Crime Solvers. You will not provide your name when submitting a tip. We don't use caller ID. As a nonprofit, our records are not subject to the Freedom of Information Act. Virginia law protects information provided to us and makes it illegal for your identity to be released, which we won't have anyway.

You will not need to appear in court.

Because you stay anonymous when you submit a tip, you can never be required to appear in court. Your tip focuses law enforcement in the right direction. It is up to them to solve the case, make the arrest, and appear in court.

You will earn cash rewards.

If your anonymous tip leads to an arrest, you will be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,500, with more serious crimes having higher rewards. Additional factors in determining the amount of your reward are the number of crimes committed, guns and drugs seized, and property recovered. You will be notified through the P3 Tip Program about your reward, or you can call the tipline.

Since 1982, Virginia Beach Crime Solvers has received 43,062 anonymous tips. These tips have resulted in  8,400 arrests and 17,389 solved crimes. Tips to Crime Solvers has recovered over $43,933,931 in narcotics, Illegal cash & stolen property. Virginia Beach Crime Solvers has approved $1,398,499 in cash rewards to anonymous tipsters. Zero tax dollars are used to pay rewards!

End of Year 2025:  Virginia Beach Crime Solvers has received 1048 anonymous tips. As a result of these tips there has been $17,620 in approved rewards. $136,048 in recovered stolen property: $219,724 worth of cash seized as a result of crime. $61,014 in illegal drugs removed from the streets. Total $412,786 recovered. Tips also helped remove 6 illegal handguns from the street.

End of year 2024: Virginia Beach Crime Solvers received 899 anonymous tips. With our tipsters help we solved 91 cases. Made 49 arrests. Authorized $19,095 in rewards to tipsters. Recovered $97,876 in stolen property, cash and drugs. Removed 8 illegal handguns from the street.
