UPDATE: SUSPECT HAS BEEN IDENTIFIED AND HAS BEEN ARRESTED.
On 9/8/22 at 7-Eleven, 2 employees reported a white male made several attempts to make purchases at their store with counterfeit U.S. $20 bills. The first occurrence was on 9/6/22 for $40. The second occurrence was on 9/8/22 at approximately 6:05 p.m. for $20. 7-Eleven employees confronted him when he attempted to make a purchase with “motion picture” money on 9/8/22. He said the money was real and used it at another 7- Eleven. Suspect was seen leaving in a vehicle with VA tags TXM5687 registered to a person that is not the suspect.
