Crime: Forgery – Obtaining Money by False Pretense 2022-082439

On 12/22/22 in the 500 block of Central Drive, the authorized signer for the business checks discovered a forged check in the amount of $7,986 that was negotiated through the business account. Further investigation showed that the check was negotiated via ATM in Norfolk. The financial institution provided surveillance photos of the transactions.
