SUSPECT IDENTIFIED HAS WARRANT Fraud 2024024529

The victim received a spoofed phone call from Wells Fargo on 4/30/24 asking if he made a $25,000 wire transfer. The unknown suspect convinced the victim to create a wire transfer in the amount of $25,000 so they could track the fraudulent wire transfer and claimed it would be refunded once completed. Victim completed the wire transfer to Citibank.

The victim was then convinced to transfer $9,800 to his own Apple Cash. Purchases were made through the victim’s Apple Cash account while on the phone, including a $7,488 charge at an Apple Store in Orlando, FL. The two pictured individuals made the purchase at the Apple Store.
