Crime: ID Theft 2023042504

Later in the day on 7/21/23, on N. Great Neck Road., the pictured suspect attempted to obtain a cashier’s check against the account in the amount of $20,000. She was denied because of the recent withdrawal against the account. The images shown are of the second attempt.

Original offense:  Pictured suspect entered a financial institution and provided an account number and presented a Maryland ID. She withdrew $9,800 from the account in cash and left the financial institution without incident. It was later discovered by the victim, who resides in Maryland, that this occurred by someone who is not her. The ID appeared to be legitimate, but this was not her.
